Practice Summary
(how it works, how you measure it)
The Division
of Reimbursement/Home Health receives Medicare and Medicaid funds
for all health districts providing home health services. When
depositing these funds, they are deposited directly to the district.
If they use FINDS, the health district can track their deposits
on a daily basis.
Impact
on the Process Organizational Performance (OUTCOMES)
It allows
the district to track their deposits on a daily basis. Before
implementing this process, the districts received the information
only twice a month. It also saved time and work for the staff.
Best
Practice Qualification
It made important
information more available and saved personnel time.

Search
the Best Practices Database
While the
individual best practices are shown under the Best Practices Repository,
you may also query the repository by keying in a word or phrase
below. The repository will then be searched for your phrase. If
it is not found, you are invited to e-mail the Commonwealth Competition
Council with the topic you are interested in, and an attempt will
be made to contact one of the Virginia state government agencies
responsible for that issue.
